Some countries are now accepting evidence of a completed COVID-19 vaccination course in lieu of negative PCR test results for entry purposes.
Most European, Middle Eastern and African countries, will accept the new QR-coded NHS Scotland COVID-19 vaccination record, available either in a printed version or to download onto a mobile phone or tablet. If you were vaccinated in Scotland, this is the process for how to get this:
- Visit www.nhsinform.scot and select: 'Get a record of your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination status'
- Have your vaccination invitation letter to hand with your unique username and password (or follow 'Recover username' 'Forgotten your password' links to retrieve/reset these)
- → 'Sign in to view or request a copy of your vaccination status'
Simples!
NB: Always check the latest entry requirements on the FCO website, or the country's own Embassy page, prior to travel or booking tests!
If a country to which you are travelling does not accept the above certificate (e.g. Philippines) - or you are worried e.g. about crossing at smaller land or lake border posts in Africa, we can certify your COVID vaccination details on an International Certificate of Vaccination & Prophylaxis (ICVP), affectionately known as the 'Yellow Fever card'. The cost for this would be £15. We would need to check proof of dates of vaccination and batch numbers.
