The clinic is centrally located between Bruntsfield and Tollcross, and easy to get to by bicycle or No. 11, 15, 16, 23, 36, 45, 101 & 102 buses (the two nearest stops are: ‘Leven Street’ and ‘Whitehouse Loan’).

There is usually parking available further up the road (metered on a Saturday morning, but free after 6:30 p.m. on weekdays).  There is also free parking on a Saturday morning on Whitehouse Loan (see adjacent map).

→ For the most up-to-date, evidence-based malaria risk maps, we recommend the harmonised EU/Swiss malaria risk maps, which are easily accessible via this link, published via the Institute of Tropical Diseases, Antwerp.

→ Finally, Dr Bond also sees some clients for pre-deployment or visa medicals, which he usually sees at his Blackford Clinic on a weekday, although these may be fitted in at our travel clinic if we have space. Some medicals may require a chest X-ray or ECG, usually arranged  at the nearby Nuffield Hospital. 

Enquiries for all medicals should be made in the first instance via our email address above, ideally including a scanned copy of any medical forms which need to be completed.
